Asian Festival of 1st Films (AFFF)Foreword Communications worked on a four-month media publicity programme for The Asian Festival of 1st Films, the world's inaugural platform that honours the best of first-time films, producers, directors, writers, cinematographers, actors and documentary makers of Asian descent. The event culminated with a week of film screenings from 23 to 29 Nov followed by an Award Night in Singapore on 30 November 2005. The festival was organised by Teamwork Productions with partners, Media Development Authority of Singapore, Golden Village and Singapore Film Society. Distinguished Friends of Singapore & Friends of Singapore - Business Awards (EDB)Foreword Communications organised the event proceedings and media publicity for the Distinguished Friends of Singapore & Friends of Singapore - Business Awards in 2005. The awards initiated by the Singapore Economic Development Board were presented by the President of Singapore, S R Nathan to five business leaders who had contributed significantly to the economic growth of Singapore, mainly in the areas of business, industry, science and technology. The event at the Istana (the President’s official residence) was attended by Singapore Ministers, ambassadors and business leaders. It received widespread coverage in the Singapore and foreign media. Foreword Communications worked on the International SOS account for four and half years on a media led communications programme. Foreword’s constant pitching of story angles on the company’s security expertise and dissemination of on-time information on IntSOS’s medical evacuation operations to the media on a constant basis provided the company with widespread press coverage in both the local and foreign media. The media focused PR programme was highly successful in branding IntSOS as a top notch world leading provider of medical assistance, international healthcare, security services and outsourced medical care. Launch of Nokia 7610

Launch of Nokia 7610Foreword Communications organised the launch of a unique mobile imaging event – “Mobile Inspirations: Share Your Megapixel Story” in 2005 to coincide with the launch of the Nokia 7610 in Singapore. To emphasise the 7610’s powerful imaging capability in capturing quality images. Nokia created the “City Stories” idea which involved putting the Nokia 7610 in the hands of experienced photographers, filmmakers, editors and journalists to capture ‘magic” moments in their respective cities. The images were collected and put together in a book entitled “City Stories. Foreword Communications coordinated the book project and organised the launch event at Chijmes. Linear Technology

Linear TechnologyForeword Communications planned and organised the official openings of Linear Technology’s two plants in Singapore. The first one in 1994 and company’s second semiconductor test facility in 2005. Media coverage for both events was well covered in the local media and trade publications. Linear Technology Corporation, is a global manufacturer of high performance linear integrated circuits. Schering Plough

Asian Festival of 1st Films (AFFF)Schering-Plough first used Foreword Communications' services for their ground-breaking ceremony for their bulk chemical plant in May 1995. This was followed by the organisation of the opening ceremony for the plant in 1997. When they opened their dry powder inhaler manufacturing facility in March 1999, they worked with Foreword Communications again. On 8 December 2000, when they launched and announced their expansion projects making them the largest pharmaceutical site in Singapore, Schering-Plough partnered the company once again.

On 5 November 2002, Schering-Plough teamed up again with Foreword for the official opening of their Biotech Sterile Manufacturing Facility and Tablet Facility. A year later, Foreword Communications planned and managed the launch of their Multi-Product Bulk Pharmaceutical Facility and Research & Development Facility on 23 December 2003. Singapore Motorshow

Foreword Communications organised the PR and media publicity efforts for the 2002 and 2004 Singapore Motorshows. Presented by the Motor Traders Association of Singapore (MTA), the event features more than 100 exhibitors and the most concept car exhibits to date for any auto event held in Singapore. Held biennially in Suntec Singapore in the month of November, the show features the most diverse showcase of automobiles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, auto technologies and innovations and car accessories. The Club Entreprises (Paris 2012)

The Club Entreprises (Paris 2012)Foreword Communications organised the media and event publicity for The Club Entreprises from March to July 2005. The Club comprised 20 of France's leading blue chip companies' backing Paris and France's bid for the Olympic Games in 2012. Apart from liaising with the media to publicise the Club's support for the staging of the Games, Foreword was also involved in the coordination and management of events with the French business community in Singapore and the organization of a press trip to Paris when the city showcased the 28 Olympic sports to the French public on 6 June 2006 at the Champs-Elysées Avenue.

Foreword was also responsible for the set-up and management of the international press centre in Singapore from 1 to 5 July to assist the local and international media covering the IOC event with press enquiries and information.Larger ImageView Larger Image
