Foreword Communications organized the official opening and managed the media relations programme of China-based AAC Acoustic Technologies Holdings Inc for AAC Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore. The company will serve as its new international headquarters and R&D centre. The event was held at the Raffles Hotel and officiated by Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Minister of State for Trade and Industry. Situated in Science Park II, the new Singapore office will perform a range of functions including corporate training, technical support services and sales, marketing control and planning. It will also expand upon the company’s existing technological capabilities by carrying out additional research and development and test-bedding activities for new concepts. The company plans to invest around S$20 million over the next five years in R&D activities in Singapore.
