Foreword Communications organised the official opening of Paris-listed Soitec Group its first manufacturing facility outside of France at the Pasir Ris Wafer Park in Singapore. Soitec is the world’s leading manufacturer of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafers and other engineered substrates used in the microelectronics industry. The production facility will serve as a hub for the Soitec Group’s production of 300mm SOI wafers throughout the region. Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade & Industry. Was guest of honour.Dr André-Jacques Auberton-Hervé, President and CEO of Soitec Group and senior management staff were present at the event.
