May 23, 2007Opening of Affymetrix Inc's First Manufacturing Plant Outside the US
Foreword Communications organised the official opening of Affymetrix Inc’s first manufacturing facility outside of the United States. A pioneer in creating breakthrough tools that are driving the genomic revolution, Affymetrix technology is used by the world's top pharmaceutical, diagnostic and biotechnology companies, as well as leading academic, government and not-for-profit research institutes to analyze the relationship between genes and human health. Ms Aw Kah Peng, Assistant Managing Director of the EDB officiated the event which received widespread media coverage.
