Foreword Communications planned and managed the media programme of the coveted annual Furniture Design Award 2007 (FDA 2007) organised by the Singapore Furniture industries Council. .The call for entries for FDA 2007 began in June 2006. The Award, which comprises the Students, Young Designers and Open categories, received a total of 377 entries from Singapore and 13 other countries across the world namely Australia, Belgium, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States. The results of the competition was announced on 28 Feb 2007 . Wining entries were exhibited at IFFS/AFS 2007 at the Singapore Expo form 1 to 5 March 2007. The event received widespread coverage in the local and international media.
