Apr 06, 2006Inauguration of Waters Pacific Pte Ltd and the Commemoration of the Strategic Alliance between Waters and Solectron
Foreword Communications organised the inauguration of Waters Corporation’s new purpose-built facility in Singapore on 6 April 2006 at Solectron’s premises located at the Technopark @ Chai Chee. Waters will partner Solectron Corporation and manufacture Waters’ Alliance® HPLC Systems, a sophisticated precision instrument used by scientists worldwide at the facility. Mr. John Ornell, Chief Financial Officer of Waters Corporation together with senior company executives flew specially for the event. Mr. Philip Yeo, Chairman of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research(A*STAR) Singapore, officiated at the inauguration. Ms Patricia Herbold, the US Ambassador was also in attendance. More than 80 guests comprising business associates, customers, suppliers, members of the media and staff of Waters and Solectron attended the ceremony and reception.
