Client: Alain Figaret

Public relations programme to launch Alain Figaret’s (French designer apparel) flagship store in Singapore and raise awareness of their products through association of the brand with high-profile Singaporeans

Foreword Communications handled the launch of the company’s flagship store and collections in Singapore in 2002. Apart from organising the launch event (Alain Figaret’s first PR exercise which received tremendous media coverage), Consultancy was also responsible for all media publicity efforts and client’s product seeding programme over a six month period. This entailed sending out Alain Figaret shirts and blouses to those on the “who’s who” list in Singapore (including leading journalists and newscasters/TV presenters). The seeding programme was extremely well received by the personalities who were approached by Foreword’s staff. The seeding programme resulted in greater patronage of client’s stores and an upsurge in product sales.
